Dads Club is a network of dads looking for easy ways to increase their involvement at Valley View. Through increased awareness, advocacy and support, dads can help make a positive impact in the community no matter how much time they have available. Dads Club will provide various social opportunities for dads to meet other dads who already volunteer their time at school and want to share their experiences.
Research has shown the benefits of Dad involvement in school. Their children:
- Learn more
- Perform better in school
- Exhibit healthier behavior
- Have fewer discipline problems
- Are more likely to participate in extracurricular activities.
- Enjoy school more
Dad’s Club activities in the past:
- Movie Night at Valley View.
- Valley View Festival setup help.
- Help with event setup and breakdown.
The Dad’s Club organizer in the 2024/25 school year is Daniel Garcia, you can meet him, ask questions and sign up at the 1st Valley View All Family Meeting.
